Cartoon Carnival #37: Halloween Hijinks

It's time for a favorite annual 16mm Cartoon Carnival tradition! At show #37, we’ll have over a dozen 16mm (no digital!) cartoons from the 1920s to the 1940s, straight from the Stathes Archives to the silver screen at Standard ToyKraft—all for your enjoyment! Come on out for some creepy, ghoulish Halloween-themed goodies from the early days of animation. There will be ghosts, jack o' lanterns, skeletons, witches and more galore...starring some classic characters you know, and many you don't know. Bring your friends, too!

Tommy Stathes is a "Cartoon Cryptozoologist" with a rare film print collection comprised of over 1,500 shorts. Tommy's long term goal has been to acquire and preserve as many early animated films as possible and reintroduce them to the public.
